Ms. Constantine received her BS degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln Nebraska and her MA degree from West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia. She also completed graduate course work at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida specifically for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Eating Disorders. Constantine became a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Florida in 1993. Constantine has earned her certified Experiential therapist II credentials through the American Society of Experiential Therapists with over 500 training hours in psychodrama methods. Ms. Constantine has also been awarded a diplomate status by the American Psychotherapy Association for the clinical excellence in the areas of knowledge, skill, education, training and experience in the therapeutic process. Janet Constantine began her career as a primary clinician for the Willough At Naples, an inpatient treatment facility for the treatment of Eating Disorders and Addictions. She received extensive training in the treatment of Eating Disorders, Addictions, Relapse Prevention and Sexual Trauma while employed by the Willough at Naples. Constantine was serving as the Directer of the Eating Disorders Unit when she left the Willough in 1993 to open her own clinical mental health private practice in Naples, Florida. Ms. Constantine maintained her clinical psychotherapy practice in Naples for 16 years, relocating to the St. Augustine Jacksonville area with her family. Ms. Constantine continues to offer clinical psychotherapy mental health services in Jacksonville Florida. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Addictions and Eating Disorders. She also works extensively with clients struggling with issues related to addictions such as co-dependency, self esteem and ACOA, mood disorders and sexual trauma/post traumatic stress history. |
